The Ártabro Gulf is the common denomination with which it is known the union of the rivers of A Coruña, Betanzos, Ares and Ferrol, whose authorship corresponds to the geologist Otero Pedrayo, and that in a natural way attends to a geographical accident that allowed to unite these spaces and morphology around its particular history. It coincides with the end of Costa da Morte and the beginning of the Rías Altas.

The municipalities that form this Group are: A Coruña, Arteixo, Culleredo, Cambre, Bergondo, Sada and Oleiros.
