The Local Fisheries Action Group (GALP) Ría de Arousa has a total of 47 partner entities, of which 36.2% belongs to the fishing sector, while social sector entities represent 38.3%. The public sector has eight entities and the economic sector has four.

 

The partners of the GALP group a total of 26 869 people, representing a very high percentage of the population, 17.5%. The fisheries sector has 5332 people, representing 82.3% of the population affiliated to the sea regime in this area.

 

The presence of women in the assembly is 31.9%. In all sectors there is a greater male representation, except in the social sector, where the number of women and men is balanced.
