Bueu, Marín, Pontevedra, Poio, Sanxenxo and Meaño make up the territory proposed by the GALP Ría de Pontevedra in the candidacy for the definition of an integrated development strategy for the coastal zone, following the fundamental criterion of keeping the cofradías of the Ría Of Pontevedra that share exploitation plans. The proposed area maintains the physical continuity of the territory. Lanzada marks the northern end of this coastal zone and Cape Udra the south; By the west, the Ons Islands, close the estuary and the coastal zone. These islands, Ons and Onza, are part of the National Park of the Atlantic Islands and are one of its emblematic landmarks along with the Island of Tambo.
